General questions
eCompute is a brand built by tech enthusiasts, offering cloud and bare-metal server solutions.
The servers are located in the SERVERIUS Datacenter, Dronten, Netherlands and NXDATA Datacenter, Bucharest, Romania.
HOSTGW guarantees 99.9% uptime. If this level is not met, you will receive a 10% discount on your next invoice.
We provide 24/7 technical support through our ticket system. Please note that our servers are unmanaged, meaning that we handle the live status of the server, such as network and hardware issues, but we do not handle issues related to 3rd party software installed on the server.
For cloud servers the average delivery time is around 10 minutes. For the bare-metal servers the average delivery time is around 5 hours.
Simply go to https://www.ecompute.com/console/account/recovery and request a new password.
2FA can be enabled from the account dashboard → account → account security.
Your details can be changed from the account dashboard → account.
We do not charge for installing or reinstalling servers.
Technical questions
A reinstall can be requested from the account dashboard → VPS instances → manage instance → reinstall OS.
An instance can be upgraded from the account dashboard → VPS instances → manage instance → upgrade instance.
We provide 2 weekly backups for all cloud servers, free of charge.
You'll need to take out a ticket with our technical department. Our support will review your account and get back to you.
You may disable password authentication on your instances and enable SSH key access from the account dashboard → account → SSH keys. Please note that this process must be completed before the server is installed. If your server has already been delivered before the keys were added to your account, you may request a reinstall and then you'll be good to go.
Billing questions
We accept Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, bank/wire transfers and Crypto Currencies.
PayPal subscriptions are available during checkout.
A refund can be requested within 3 days after the service has been delivered. Please note that only the first order is eligible for refund. Refunds are available for servers paid for via PayPal and Credit Card.
A refund can be requested by creating a ticket with the Billing Department. The funds will be sent back using the original payment method within 7 days.
Unpaid servers could be cancelled directly from your account dashboard → billing.
